Running 2.15 Miles: Tara Delver.

Tara Delver is an amazing woman! This month she is running/walking 2.15 miles each day to honor the history of abuse and trauma inflicted on residential school children.

The news of the discovery of the 215 graves of residential school children in Kamloops has been very painful and it is very difficult to know what to do and how to respond. Tara is an example of finding a way to support and heal.

This month is National Indigenous History Month:
•Please take time to consider how you can listen to our Indigenous friends and family.
•Please read and feel the testimonies of residential school survivors.
•Please be kind and gentle.
•And if you get a chance to hear the drums playing this month please listen.

I am so thankful for my friend Tara and all I am hearing from her every day this month.
